Overview
The Temple of Horus in Edfu is located in the north of Aswan and was built in honor of the god Horus, depicted as a warrior with a falcon head. It dates back to the Late Period of ancient Egyptian civilization.
The Temple of Goddess Isis on Philae Island is the most well-preserved part of the architectural complex. During the visit, you can see various reliefs depicting offerings to Egyptian gods.
The Temple of Ramesses II in Abu Simbel is a heritage of the ancient civilization and was built in honor of Pharaoh Ramesses II and dedicated to the gods Amun-Ra and Ptah. Inside the temple, there are four halls, one behind the other, with each one decreasing in size.
